Over the years, your western New York Ashley Furniture HomeStores have been involved in numerous acts of charity including donations of furniture to Catholic Charities, a complete make-over of a community after-school youth recreation center and a home make-over of a family homeless shelter. Each year, thousands of dollars are donated to the United Way through the combined contributions of our employees and managing partners. We are proud of the fact that we are the #1 furniture retailer donating to the United Way in each and every market in which we operate.
In 2009 we were asked by the producers of the ABC television program, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, to help with the now-famous Buffalo episode in which an entire Buffalo neighborhood was made over-- in addition to the home of a deserving family. Ashley Furniture HomeStores of western New York donated and delivered all of the non-custom furniture and accessories that went into this home.
